Echocardiography is a special ultrasound of the heart. Sonographers have special training to perform this test and will be able to detect functional and anatomical issues of the heart through imaging. We've welcomed a new technologist who graduated from the Mohawk College/McMaster University Echocardiography program, with specialized training alongside Ottawa Heart Institute cardiologists.

 

We utilize state-of-the-art equipment to provide high-quality imaging, and all tests are reviewed and interpreted by a cardiologist from the Ottawa Heart Institute.
